Mary Hill, Coordinator for Texas Higher Education Statewide Initiatives for Prevention and former senior administrator/dean of students, professor, coach and served on President’s cabinet at West Texas A&M University. Presently as a consultant/trainer for higher education, she is committed to bringing the latest trends in area of proactive prevention from planning to implementing prevention programs. She works closely with colleges/universities and community coalitions developing their prevention programs. Mary designs and implements each training session around the specific needs of the university and/or community coalition. The “Train the Trainer” sessions are creative and interactive and have been used throughout the United States.
Programs developed: environmental management, coalition building, policy development, peer education, social norming, RA enforcement, leadership and team development, grant writing and fundraising.
Currently, concentrating in working with community colleges, community coalitions, peer educators, athletes, Greeks and administration.
